PCI DDS and ISAE3402 certification

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards. ISAE 3402 is a standard for documenting that a service organisation has adequate internal controls.

    The PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) ensures the safe handling of sensitive information and is intended to help organizations proactively protect customer account data. As does not monitor or have access to customer data, applicability is restricted to physical security access to customer equipment through a combination of management systems and physical access safeguards and procedures.
  • Assurance Reports on Controls of a Service Organization
    ISAE 3402 deals with assurance engagements undertaken by an auditor. It is a standard for documenting that a service organization has adequate internal controls. By complying to these standards, demonstrates that it has well-established an internal control framework that is operating effectively.
