An extension and expansion of SAS 70, it is similar to SSAE 16 in focus but international in scope, making it key for Multinational Corporation (MNC) to track cross-border business activities.
Businesses that use service organizations like Datacenter.com that have been audited for ISAE 3402 compliance have a higher level of trust and confidence in that organizations controls and operational capabilities. Additionally, entity’s that are being audited themselves for ISAE 3402, SSAE 16, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance or similar law or regulation will find it easier to comply with requirements when using an ISAE 3402-audited service organization.
